SimTiki is the healthcare simulation based education center at the John A Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) and the first one in the world to be accredited for Fellowship Programs (2020) by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). SimTiki facilitates over 3,000 simulation based training encounters annually. In February 2015, SimTiki Simulation Center was one of the first ten centers in the nation accredited by SSH for the fields of Teaching/Education and Research; and subsequently achieved accreditation in Assessment in 2019.

Health Check-in and Requirements
Prior to entering our campus, all individuals must complete the required LumiSight UH daily check-in. Persons experiencing symptoms of illness or feeling ill should NOT enter the campus. Anyone entering the medical school should adhere to the current COVID-19, vaccination and testing policy located here and may be asked to provide verification.
All individuals must wear a face mask when entering the John A. Burns School of Medicine buildings.
